WHERE TO STAY

Most resorts in the Devbagh-Tarkarli Area are small, some being even family run resorts.
Some of the popular Resorts are

1. MTDC Beach Resort Tarkarli : Most people stay here, due to its proximity to the Tarkarli Beach and the various attractions.
2. Saagar Darshan, Tarkarli
3. Saagar Kinaara, Devbagh : This resort is situated on the banks of the Karli river, it provides a very good view of the Backwaters. The devbagh beach is walking distance from this resort.
4. Siddhivinayak Beach Resort, Devbagh : Owned by the Khobrekar brothers, Siddhivinayak beach resort is located to the Devbagh beach. Rooms are clean and food served here is authentic Malvani.
5. Rosary Paradise, Devbagh : Again Rosary Paradise is located on the Devbagh beach. Mostly frequented by foreigners, Rooms are all self contained with a kitchen refrigerator etc. You even have a small volleyball arena outside the resort on the beach. Not sure about the food here though.

Most of these are priced from 700-2500 per room per day, depending on facilities like Airconditioning, Beach View etc.

I stayed at the Siddhivinayak Beach Resort, Devbagh. Rooms were Non A/C and priced at 700 bucks. The resort is located on the beach , so you can rest in the shack within the resort and go for a dip in the sea, whenever you like.
